When and where is the family reunion?
The reunion will take place from Thursday, June 26, 2025 - Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.
Do I need to rsvp?
YES! Please RSVP at the bottom of our home page so we know you're coming! Be sure to include the full names of each family member attending, a good contact email for your family, and t-shirt sizes for each member.
What are the host hotels for the reunion?
Our host hotels are Aloft Orlando International Drive, Element Orlando International Drive, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld. The Aloft Orlando International Drive and Element Orlando International Drive have a discounted parking fee of $12/night. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld has a parking fee of $18/night.
Are there any special rates for hotel rooms?
Yes, we have negotiated special rates for our reunion attendees at the host hotels. Please use the booking links provided on the "Hotels" tab to get the discounted rates.
Is transportation provided to and from the host hotels?
Each attendee is responsible for their own transportation. On June 27, 2025, a chartered bus to and from Daytona Beach is included in your fees.
Can I extend my stay beyond the reunion dates?
Yes, you can extend your stay. Please contact the hotels directly or use our booking links on the "Hotels" tab to make arrangements.
Are meals included in the reunion package?
Complimentary breakfast is at The Element Hotel and Fairfield Inn & Suites. Aloft guests will join those at The Element next door. A $10 lunch voucher will be provided during Friday's beach trip, and a meal will be provided at the banquet. Attendees should be prepared to cover other meals. Visit the "Things to Do" tab for a list of options within 1 mile of the Host Hotel Center.
Can I bring guests who are not part of the family?
Yes, guests are welcome to join the reunion activities. Please ensure that they are registered and have the necessary information for participation.
Is there a dress code for reunion events?
While there is no strict dress code, reunion t-shirts are requested to be worn during beach trip on Friday. We recommend comfortable attire for daytime activities and semi-formal or casual chic attire for evening gatherings.
What is the cost to attend the reunion?
Adults: $185 per person (includes reunion shirt), Children 10-17: $100 per person (includes reunion shirt), Children 4-9: $70 per person (includes reunion shirt), Children 3 and under: Free ($15 for reunion shirt). Please note, these prices are PER PERSON.
How do I pay for the reunion fees?
You can pay via Zelle, PayPal, or send a check by mail. Links and instructions are provided on the "Fees" section of the website.
What is the cancellation policy for the reunion?
If you need to cancel your attendance, please notify us as soon as possible.
How can I stay updated on reunion news and announcements?
You can stay updated by regularly checking our website, checking 'The Owens Family' Facebook group, and subscribing to our monthly newsletter, by submitting your RSVP on bottom of the home page.
